A Camping We Will Go

It is that time of year again! Our annual camping trip for my parents November birthdays. Time to rest, relax, and enjoy the free entertainment of my niece. She will sing and dance for us, come up with crazy sayings, and pamper us as well. It is a chance for 3 generations of girls to enjoy the weekend camping in the motorhome. I am picking her up from Kindergarten today and heading to the grocery store. She will help as she loves to cook and we have made sure to pack her very own apron. And we must not forget the cake! I am also looking forward to picking up my book and reading. I am currently on a Fern Michaels series and am a little sad that after 3 more books it will be over.

Twilight 'New Moon' premiered today. Gonna wait until the buzz dies down before I head out to see it. Team Edward by the way. I am having a hard time with the whole Jacob being buff after seeing him on Disney Channel the other night in Shark Boy and Lava Girl...lol

My nephew's new word of the week is cannonball. Gotta love the things they learn from their sibling. I will definitely miss his infectious giggle that makes me laugh so loud.

Here's to a wonderful girls weekend!

Pay It Forward

So this is my first post! Wow! I have been reading blogs for about a year now and have become utterly addicted to them. I love love love reading them and am truly amazed at the wonderful writers there are in this world.

I am madly in love with my niece and nephew and after seeing all these online "journals", I have decided to take the plunge and start one of my own. Hopefully it will help me to remember the little things that they do that make me love them sooooo much!

Anyways, it is November and I was nominated at my company for Employee of the Month. Along with that honor comes a wonderful parking place in front of the building. I was rewarded with a gift (I ordered the celtic necklace)and so I have decided to "pay it forward" and have spent the last hour working on statistics to justify my nominee. I picked a wonderful person who truly deserves to win.

I hope to instill the tradition of paying it forward to my niece and nephew when they are old enough to understand the concept. My niece is five and she might get it but the nephew who is 2.... well that will come later.

Happy November... I have so much to look forward to!
